4-GAME WEEK ANGERS OLI
Daily Star
|November 01, 2025
OLIVER GLASNER is fuming at the prospect of Crystal Palace having to play FOUR GAMES in a week after reaching the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.
The Eagles boss blasted the fixture pileup as "irresponsible", with their clash with Arsenal pencilled in for December 16.
Palace, though, already have matches scheduled on December 14, December 18 and December 21, which left Glasner in disbelief over the potential demands on his players.
"I can't believe that it will be fixed in that way," said the Austrian. "It would be irresponsible for the players.
"Everybody has a responsibility for the players. And we have to look after their welfare. That's our main responsibility - and not just at the club. When I heard it for the first time, I couldn't believe it, that they are considering this."
