The veteran Premier League stalwart has signed a short-term deal with the club until the end of the season to give boss Vitor Matos some extra cover in the right-back slot.
With Josh Key picking up a knock, the 36-year-old's arrival is timely as the Swans host West Brom in the FA Cup third round this afternoon.
