Panic grabs another big prize for Skelton

STRIKING GOLD Tristan Durrell and Panic Attack head for victory in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury.

PANIC ATTACK gave Dan Skelton another big Saturday prize - and jockey Tristan Durrell a career high - with a 16-1 victory in Newbury's Coral Gold Cup.

Carrying a 4lb penalty for her Paddy Power Gold Cup success at Cheltenham two weeks earlier, the Bryan Drew-owned mare produced an exuberant leap at the last of the 21 fences to beat Three Card Brag by six and a half lengths. with The Changing Man in third.

"I always used to watch this race as a kid," said 5lb claimer Durrell.

"This meant an awful lot to me."
