Lucy's late leveller a costly error for misfiring Gunners

ARSENAL blew the chance to go top of the Women’s Super League after Lucy Parker scored in stoppage time to salvage a draw for Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
-
Frida Maanum’s first-half strike looked to be enough to fire the Gunners above leaders Chelsea only for Parker to strike in the fourth added minute.
Arsenal striker Alessia Russo said: “Taking nothing away from Villa but to our standards we've got to be better.
“We make the Emirates a fortress for our team and our fans.
“It wasn't good enough today.
“We did have chances, I still would be critical that we could create better chances for each other and set people up more.
“This league is so competitive - you give a team a set-piece late in the game, they can score off it.
