Davies delighted with Korean star

- By Alan Smith AT ST ANDREW'S

CHRIS DAVIES sang the praises of his patient Birmingham and his match-winner Paik Seung-ho who netted a rare goal to extend their unbeaten return to the Championship.

And by stretching their run without a league defeat at St Andrew's to 27 games, the Blues inflicted more woe on former boss Gary Rowett.

Birmingham are among seven Championship teams yet to taste defeat. But Davies is more pleased by their performances than results right now, saying of their ability to get past an Oxford outfit set up to frustrate: “I was encouraged by it.

“The game looked exactly as I thought it would. We dominated the ball but I liked us, we followed the right processes.
