VAN DIJK AND SLOT SPELL OUT REDS' ISSUES AFTER 'VERY BAD' DEFEAT LEAVES TITLE BID HANGING BY A THREAD

ARNE SLOT and Virgil van Dijk both said Liverpool's defeat at home to Nottingham Forest was a 'very bad' result.

Liverpool's heaviest home loss in almost five years was their sixth league defeat in seven matches - and leaves their Premier League title defence in tatters with them in the bottom half of the table.

Van Dijk said: "Everyone is disappointed, like they should be, because losing at home to Nottingham Forest is, in my eyes, very bad. That's the least I can say about it."
