A MUM woke up with a Chinese accent - and now restaurant staff think she's taking the mickey.

Jodie Connelly was diagnosed with a neurological disorder last May.

Now the 51-year-old has developed rare Foreign Accent Syndrome.

Sufferers speak their native language while sounding like they come from another country.

Jodie had been suffering with nasty headaches and her vocal chords were closing in.
