THOUSANDS of football fans drive a car in their team’s colours.

Those from Manchester were the most obsessive, with 20% - one in five of them - saying they drove either a red or blue one, depending on whether they were fans of United or City.

The Liverpool and Everton faithful weren't far behind, with 15% buying red or blue cars to demonstrate their love of the Anfield side or the Toffees.
