Don't let age hold you back

WATCHING the amazing Sara Cox finish her five marathons in five days for Children In Need reminded me that most of us can achieve so much if we want it enough, and that we shouldn't give up at the first hurdle.

Last week I went to a comedy night to see Phil Dinsdale compere his hilarious comedy setup “Gagging for Laughs” when he and three comedians had us all in stitches. When I played rugby with Phil 35 years ago he worked in the NHS but always had us laughing before, during and after every match. He dared to chase his dream and by working hard has now set up an amazing comedy business, fulfilling his ambition and bringing laughter to many.
