|May 25, 2025
JOEL WARD has hailed the perfect ending to the final chapter of his Crystal Palace career as he prepares to bring down the curtain on his 13-year stint at Selhurst Park.
The Palace captain, 35, is set to take part in his final match for the south Londoners when Oliver Glasner's FA Cup winners head to Liverpool today.
Ward joined the Eagles from Portsmouth in 2012, helping them achieve promotion from the Championship.
He will sign off with 365 appearances if he plays against the champions at Anfield this afternoon.
