BYD Atto 2's on the go with choice of batteries

The new BYD Atto 2 has hit the road here with prices starting from £30,850.

The compact electric model arrives with two battery sizes - 51.1kWh and 64.8kWh - with the latter doing 261 miles on a single charge. The smaller battery Atto 2 charges from 30 to 80 per cent in half an hour with an output of 174bhp.

The larger takes around 20 minutes to charge and puts out 201bhp.
