I'VE been compiling a playlist for a family barbecue and it's proving a bit tricky.

First of all, you have to cater for all the guests. You need the right amount of Elvis and Sinatra for the old folks, and just enough Baby Shark and Frozen for the nippers.

And will I annoy people if I just play my faves, which would include three hours of 90s indie rock?

I've encountered another problem as I check off my list of party tunes.

How do I make sure I don't offend anyone with my music choices?

What are the rules?

Can I stick Gary Glitter on there? Probably not, now he is a convicted paedo, despite Rock and Roll (Part 2) being a genuine banger.

And what about convicted criminal P Diddy? Are his songs a definite no-no?
