FORMER footballers say they lost millions after investing in a fraud probe firm.
Ex-Premier League stars Danny Murphy and Brian Deane, ex-Rangers player Rod Wallace and former Celtic striker Tommy Johnson are among those who invested huge sums with Kingsbridge Asset Management.
Many players put tens of millions of pounds in “tax efficient schemes” dating back to the 1990s and 2000s.
Murphy, 48, now a Match of the Day pundit, lost around £5million and suffered issues with drink, drugs and gambling as his debts spiraled and his marriage collapsed.
