ANDY MURRAY suffered a third-consecutive brutal defeat by Stan Wawrinka at the French Open - and this one will be the last here.

The Scot lost a five-set epic to his fellow triple Grand Slam champion in the 2017 semi and in straight sets in the first round in 2020.

And last night the former world No.1 went down to another crushing defeat 6-4 6-4 6-2 in only two hours and 19 minutes under the unforgiving lights of Court Philippe-Chatrier.
