Tot's nappy table negligence resolved
Daily Record
|November 13, 2025
A NURSERY has paid out a five-figure sum to the family of a tot who suffered a broken leg just 90 minutes into her first day.
Skye Tucker, two, suffered the injury at Little Clouds Nursery in Aberdeen after she fell from a nappy changing table in January.
The toddler, who was one at the time, faced additional suffering as she did not receive medical care for nearly 10 hours.
Parents Kyle, 40, and Sheena Tucker, 38, confirmed nursery bosses admitted to a “complete lapse in judgment”.
Their civil claim has now ended successfully and they have been awarded a payout of more than £10,000.
The couple have encouraged other parents to seek second opinions if they have any doubts over care standards.
