SCOTLAND'S housing crisis hits families across the country in different ways.

For some it means being stuck in a home that's too small, as larger properties are unaffordable.

But for young mum Leigh Murphy it's something far more stressful.

Her son Steven has severe autism and suffers from unusual eating disorder pica which sparks cravings for inedible objects. Steven eats sand, mud and even his bedroom walls.
