Tea-time clash at Fir Park isn't appetising for Dons and it could be the heave-ho for Jimmy
-
JIMMY THELIN looks set to swap an open-top bus parade of Aberdeen for a taxi to the airport as his dismal Dons continue to lose all sense of direction.
The Swede was a hero back in the summer as he proudly showed off the Scottish Cup on the streets of the Granite City.
But his stock has plummeted faster than a Tesla share option after a horrendous start to the new campaign.
The Hampden victory over Celtic disguised a terrible run of Premiership results that has continued into this season.
The 2-0 midweek loss away to Dundee United made it nine league games without a win and Thelin's side prop up the pile after collecting just a point from their five outings this term.
Those results are almost as embarrassing as Donald Trump’s address to the United Nations and Thelin doesn't have the luxury of dismissing any dissent as fake news.
The Red Army are up in arms and it’s hard to see the Swede lasting much longer unless results dramatically improve.
In addition to their Premiership woes, the Dons have also crashed out of the League Cup to Motherwell.
And it’s the Steelmen they face again this evening as Thelin takes his team south for a teatime clash at Fir Park.
