Ex fears tragic Scot has been buried abroad

THE family of a Scots dad who died in Colombia have been left horrified after being told his remains might have been buried in South America without their consent.

Ross Macquarrie, 38, from Mauchline in Ayrshire, was discovered dead by housekeeping staff at his lodgings in Bogota on November 11. His family have been battling to bring his body home.

Ross's loved ones claim they were told his body may have already been buried in Colombia due to a lack of space in Bogota's morgues. They say they're unaware of any postmortem taking place.
