ELLIOT ANDERSON exited the Scotland frame in the wake of a tasty tackle by Stuart Armstrong leaving him reeling, according to John Carver.
The former Scotland assistant boss has recalled the moment he knew England were set to cash in on the Geordie boy.
The incident unfolded when then-Newcastle star Anderson was called up for a Euro 2024 qualifier against Cyprus. Carver said: "We were just having a small-sided game and Elliot clashed with Stuart Armstrong.
