Summer drug deaths are a 'wake-up call'

NEW figures showing there were 283 suspected drugs deaths in Scotland this summer must be a “wake-up call” to the SNP government, according to opposition MSPs.

Suspected drugs deaths between June and August were 12 per cent higher than the same period in 2024 - though the total was down by 13 per cent on the previous three months.
