A "TALKING bench" in memory of football legend Gary Speed is being unveiled outside Everton's new stadium today.

- BY ANDY LINES

Midfielder Speed, who played for the Merseyside club for two years, was Wales manager when he took his own life in November 2011, aged 42.

The message on the bench outside the Hill Dickinson Stadium reads: "IN MEMORY OF GARY SPEED, EVERTONIAN, CAPTAIN, LEADER 1969-2011. A place for what is often unspoken. A place to sit, share and listen."
