Spackman hopes for prime Lew at Rangers

Former Ibrox midfielder Spackman, a TNT Sports pundit for Serie A, has watched Fergie blossom for Bologna since 2022.

He reckons the former Aberdeen man, 27 in August, is approaching his peak years.

Ferguson has been heavily linked with moving back to Scotland to join Rangers and his old Dons gaffer Derek McInnes.

Spackman, who won three titles with Gers, said: “Lewis has become an absolutely terrific footballer. He’s the type of player who would be a massive hit at Rangers and I'm sure Derek would definitely look at.
