Radio programme gets makeover in shake-up

GOOD Morning Scotland has been axed after 52 years on the airwaves in a major BBC shake-up.

The news and current affairs programme is the longest-running radio show broadcast from the country.

But it will be replaced by Radio Scotland Breakfast.

It will start on November 24 with regular hosts Gary Robertson and Laura Maxwell moved to new roles.
