Pooch settles into surroundings but has to sleep downstairs because of snoring

A THREE-legged dog who had languished unwanted in a dog rescue centre for four years has finally found his forever home.

Rocky was a stray who had spent over 1400 days at the Dogs Trust rescue centre in Glasgow.

Sadly, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier’s journey through life hasn't been easy.

He was first placed in a council pound in Northern Ireland before he was rescued by Dogs Trust in 2022 through the charity's Chance of a Lifetime scheme.

The initiative allows the charity to move council pound dogs into one of their UK rehoming centres.

Transferred to Glasgow, he was nicknamed Rocky Rockstar by the workers and volunteers at its Dogs Trust.

Not much is known about Rocky's past, but he arrived with a damaged leg which had to be amputated.

Loveable Rocky has finally been given a permanent home by a Staffie-loving couple, 300 miles away.
