Clean water for 40k people in need thanks to 139-day Pacific crossing
THREE Scots brothers who broke a world record as they rowed across the Pacific Ocean have smashed their £1million fundraising target for clean water projects.
Ewan, Jamie and Lachlan Maclean spent 139 days at sea rowing from the Peruvian capital, Lima, to the Australian city of Cairns.
Jamie and Lachlan touched down at their home city Edinburgh's airport yesterday morning after spending more than 24 hours in the air.
Big bro Ewan stayed in Australia to prepare the boat for its return to Scotland.
