Labour leader pledges he will champion ambitious majority
ANAS Sarwar has rounded on the “noisy minority" of public officials who, he says, block progress for the country.
The Scottish Labour leader named council chiefs, who “throw out” planning applications, and health bosses, who cover up infection scandals, as culprits.
Sarwar made the claim as he today makes a keynote speech where he will make his pitch for Scottish Labour to be in government.
His leadership has been marked by attacks on the SNP but over the next few months he is expected to set out a Labour alternative.
