Lions ace Montano after his return from injury

- BY ALAN ROBERTSON

CRISTIAN MONTANO has a job on his hands lifting Livingston off rock bottom - but says he'll never stop giving thanks for the chance to do so after experiencing it for real.

Montano, 33, who moved from Colombia to England, has regularly spoken openly about mental health after being homeless, depressed and suicidal in his younger years.

Scotland is now "home" as he embarks on his fifth season at Almondvale, and is eyeing a third successive start after back and calf injuries knocked his campaign off course.

The father of two, whose side can climb off the foot of the table with a win at Falkirk, said: "Every day I remind myself of my journey. Every game day before we go out, I give thanks and I talk about my journey to myself.
