Scots star target of random attack on Canada trip
SCOTS star James McAvoy has been attacked by a stranger in a Toronto bar while in the city for the premiere of his directorial debut California Schemin'.
On Monday, the Hollywood star, 46, from Drumchapel, Glasgow, was enjoying a night out with his wife, Lisa Liberati, in Charlotte's bar.
He was in the Canadian city for the world premiere of his movie at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
