Star's hope for Killie on back of clean sheet
-
LEWIS MAYO insists Kilmarnock have finally stopped that sinking feeling.
The Killie centre back reckons Saturday's clean sheet against St Mirren can mark a major turning point.
Now Mayo's men head for Dundee looking to end a confidence-crushing run of 12 league games without a win.
Mayo said: "When you concede sloppy goals like we've been doing, it drains your confidence - fast.
"In terms of going into games confident, clean sheets breed so much of that.
"Sure, we didn't get everything we wanted against St Mirren.
"But from the run we've been on, the first step to fixing things and making games everyone feel better is a clean sheet.
