Maria knows Gary has enemies

Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon says her character Maria is set on getting justice for husband Gary, who's in a coma.

Maria and Gary Windass are due to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary next month - a major milestone by Coronation Street standards.
The pair tied the knot in 2020, with Gary telling Maria: "I'm going to do everything I can to make your life a happy one."
However, Maria has never really trusted Gary and the couple have hit a rocky patch, culminating in Maria (Samia Longchambon) accusing Gary (Mikey North) of growing too close to Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty). In a fit of pique, Gary walked out on the marriage - leaving Maria bewildered.
Actress Samia revealed that Maria initially believes Gary will come home when he's cooled off and they'll soon patch things up - but later realises something sinister has happened to her husband.
