Rapist Brueckner refusing to talk days before sentence ends
MADELEINE McCann prime suspect Christian Brueckner has refused to be interviewed by the Metropolitan Police ahead of his pending release from prison.
The force said it sent an international letter of request for him to speak with them about the three-year-old's disappearance from a Portuguese hotel in 2007, which he later rejected.
Brueckner, 49, is serving a seven-year sentence in Germany for a 2005 rape and could be released on Wednesday.
