Hitmaker claims high caffeine level in his favourite tipple gives him panic attacks

LEWIS Capaldi has revealed he has had to quit drinking Buckfast because he thought it was going to make his heart explode.

The singer said he loves the controversial tonic wine and picked it as his favourite tipple. He even brought a bottle of it on stage at the Brit Awards in 2020 as he accepted the award for Song of the Year for his hit Someone You Loved.

However, Lewis, 28, from Whitburn, West Lothian, has now quit drinking it.
