Jens holds peace on Hoops talk

MOTHERWELL gaffer Jens Berthel Askou has broken his silence on being linked with the Celtic job after emerging as the bookies' favourite.

But Askou refused to be drawn on the speculation and insisted he's delighted the Steelmen are doing well enough for him to be talked about.

The champions are on the look-out for a new gaffer, with Martin O'Neill in temporary charge, and fans are looking at the Fir Park club, who sit fourth, just four points behind Celtic. However, Askou insists speculation has nothing to do with him.
