(and now there's no question over title credentials!)

- RYAN STEVENSON

IT'S about time we moved the conversation on a bit when it comes to what's happening at Tynecastle this season.

For months now it's been the same old question from the same old faces. Can Hearts really win this league?

Well, surely they've got their answer by now.

Derek McInnes and his side wouldn't still be sitting at the top of the table with only 12 games to go if they weren't championship winning material.

So the question is no longer 'can' they win it - it's 'are' they winning it?

And I believe the answer to that one will come at Ibrox this weekend because if Hearts take all three points there on the back of beating Hibs on Tuesday night, I genuinely believe they'll go on to lift the crown.

In fact, I'm absolutely certain of it. Even if they do nothing more against Rangers than manage to avoid defeat, I just can't see anyone else stopping them over the final stretch.

Yes, I know they didn't play particularly well in the Edinburgh derby. I was there and I saw it with my own eyes. It wasn't pretty.

But who cares? I don't care if Hearts play as badly in every game they've got left as long as they continue to find a way of rolling up their sleeves, fighting for one another and getting the points on the board.

You can see the players believe in themselves. They believe in their manager. And the fans have bought into it too. Everyone is connected. This no longer feels like watching a football team put a special season together. This feels like some sort of movement. And I'm all over that!
