Elvis: Impossible to enjoy pressure-pot derby

STEVEN PRESSLEY has admitted the pressures of the Dundee derby mean he is unlikely to enjoy much about Sunday afternoon.

The Dundee head coach knows his fans will be desperate for the bragging rights and the United support heading across the street to Dens Park will be the same.

Pressley led his team to victory at Tannadice last time and admitted even when winning these matches it's more about relief than joy.

He said: "It's not really a game you enjoy, because we all know it's about the outcome and it's a game that brings stress. It brings

a lot of pressure and if you win, it's more of a relief than anything else, than being happy. That's the pressures of the derby game."

Pressley might be the only one at Dens Park not to be caught up in the eye of the storm.

The Dee boss is calmness personified on the touchline and believes it is important not to pass that stress on to his players.

Pressley said: "No, it's different in the sense of the importance of the game but also I think you've got to be careful because one of the things is managing the stress of players.
