LOCALS' FURY AT OASIS ROAD CLOSURES
BUSINESS owners near Murrayfield have hit out at road closures announced ahead of Oasis's gigs there.
Shop owners on Roseburn Street - near the Edinburgh stadium - claim the concerts will greatly impact them, staff and customers.
The Britpop band will be performing at the venue on Friday, Saturday and next Tuesday. Roads around Murrayfield will be closed from 2pm to 12.30am on the days of the gigs.
Graeme Robertson, of Clan Garage on Roseburn Street, said he feels Scottish Rugby Union, which owns and operates the venue, has not been receptive to his complaints.
He said: “People will bring a car in the morning, go off to work and say, 'I'll pick up at night'. Can't do that. It's 12 o'clock carnage.
