Meet the candidates vying to be Lord Sugar's next business partner

We've all been guilty of making claims in job interviews but have any of us ever gone as far as The Apprentice candidates?

Now, Baroness Brady and Tim Campbell MBE are putting this year's 20 wannabes through their paces and reporting back to Lord Sugar in the boardroom. Along the way they'll find out whether businesswoman Carrington really can “make greatness out of nothing” and if actress Georgina actually does “feel like sunshine” — plus so much more.

Here, we get to know the hopefuls who are striving to win big.

ANDREA COOPERBarnsley, South Yorkshire Andrea intends to develop a software system which manages short-term accommodation.She says: "People would describe me as caring, kind and would do anything for anyone. But crossed once, then that's it."

CARRINGTON SAUNDERSSouth East London Carrington plans to expand her fashion business.She says: "I don't sit and wait, I find a way to make greatness out of nothing."

CONOR GALVINCork, Ireland Conor is ready to take photobooths to a whole new level if Lord Sugar invests.He says: "My friends will probably have a giggle when they hear I'm going into the process. They'll say I'll be fired first."

DAN MILLERRichmond, London Dan is the owner of a student recruitment firm and hopes to take his business to the next stage.He says: "At my core, I'm deeply passionate. My brand and business has been built around community, giving back and opportunity."
