Depot bosses appear in court after £20k theft of items heading for Aldi's stores

TWO warehouse bosses stole £20,000 of garden furniture, including hot tubs and bouncy castles, from their own workplace.

Wallace was the firm's Scots operations manager, while Coyle was operations supervisor at the depot.

Lewis Devoy, prosecuting, said the Cleland warehouse received and moved on stock for supermarket chain Aldi. Suspicions were raised when a “disproportionate” number of items went missing.

XDP’s head of security and a company director went to the depot and carried out a covert investigation in April 2023.
