Families say they paid thousands for breaks that weren't booked
A FRAUD probe has been launched after families reported losing thousands of pounds on holidays which they claim were never booked via a travel agent.
Scores of customer have accused Natasha MacDonald, also known as Cogley, of taking cash for getaways which they found didn't exist.
Families said they had been in tears after being left in the dark by the 46-year-old, from Renfrew, who set up an online site called Taylormade Travel earlier this year.
One victim said their group was down by more than £8000 for a trip to Turkey, which they had to rebook at their expense while they try to get the cash back through their banks.
Police said they were probing reports of “a possible fraud involving the sale of holiday bookings”.
One dad said his daughter was battling to get the £2000 she paid for a holiday to Turkey back.
