Jambos are still digging deep but it’s Gers who are 24/25 favourites

THE Premiership title race is having so many twists and turns that it's starting to look like Dan Brown is writing the script.

The Da Vinci Code and the rest of Brown's novels may lack in quality but they certainly keep you hooked and it's the same story with our top flight this season.

There's even plenty of controversy for those who love their narrative to touch on conspiracy theories, with some Old Firm fans probably convinced the Catholic church or the Freemasons are dictating matters from afar.

The last chapter in this season's tale delievred plenty of drama with Hearts and Celtic both scoring late winners while Rangers conceded at the death to 10-man Motherwell.

Had Gers held on at Fir Park they could have gone top with a two-goal win over the Jambos at Ibrox tomorrow.

But Derek McInnes’ men will still have their noses in front even if they lose and it looks like the three-way duel for supremacy will go all the way to the final few games.

The Jambos have gone unbeaten across five games with Glasgow's big two this season, winning four.

But it’s a big ask to keep up that kind of record and the leaders haven't been playing particularly well of late.
