GANG HIT SUSPECT HELD IN VIP PRISON

THE man accused of killing Scots gangsters Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons jnr at a Costa del Sol pub is being held in a Spanish jail dubbed "The VIP Prison".

Michael Riley's lockup since his extradition to Madrid a fortnight ago has a 65ft pool, gyms and squash, basketball and futsal courts.

Inmates at Soto del Real prison 25 miles from the capital can wear their own clothes.

They bunk down in individual 107 sq ft cells with private bathrooms, a table and chair and in some cases a TV.
