EMMA RADUCANU lost the final six games to crash out of the Dubai Championship at the first hurdle.

The British No.1 fell to a 6-1 5-7 6-2 defeat at the hands of ‘lucky loser’ Antonia Ruzic.

Raducanu's original opponent Elisabetta Cocciaretto withdrew at late notice due to fatigue.

After shipping the first set easily, Raducanu hit back in the second set and even led 2-0 in the decider.

But Croatia's Ruzic, who lost in the final round of the qualifiers, seized her chance.
