Disruption ahead on railways amid major engineering works
SCOTLAND'S rail network will be plunged into chaos between Christmas and New Year by engineering works.
Network Rail has announced journeys will be cancelled for a 10-day period on certain routes in and around Glasgow. The operator confirmed this will allow for the installation of a new railway bridge in Bowling, Dunbartonshire, as part of a £130million investment.
