Farmers' GPS units 'stolen to fight war'

SCOTS farmers are being targeted by thieves stealing GPS trackers to sell to Russian army units, an MSP has warned.
Beatrice Wishart raised the issue at Holyrood after a spate of thefts of the £20,000 devices.
Tough sanctions placed on Russia following Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine have caused a soaring black market demand for electronic equipment in the country.
The GPS systems can be reconfigured to be used on the battlefield.
