Dragons' Den firm goes bust

Company was left with 17,400 bottles after supermarket deals fell through

- BY SEAN MURPHY

A SCOTS booze firm that featured on Dragons' Den has gone bust.

Glasgow-based Panther M*lk was founded by Paul Crawford, who appeared on the BBC show in 2022 pitching for £50,000 in exchange for 7.5 per cent of his business.

While Deborah Meaden initially offered a deal for 25 per cent, the investment ultimately did not go through.

The product is inspired by the 20s Spanish cocktail “Leche de Pantera” and uses oat milk to create a plant-based, ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage for a young, vegan audience.

But the Glasgow-based company has now gone into liquidation with all seven jobs at the firm lost.
