Death fall man's sis demands answers

THE sister of a man who fell to his death from a 12th-floor torture flat says a fatal accident inquiry (FAI) must find out why emergency services "failed" to help him.

Jamie Forbes, 37, plunged from a window of the flat in Elphinstone Court, Aberdeen, after being held there by Lee Smith, also 37, on January 15 last year.

The victim was repeatedly struck with a hammer, punched and kicked during his ordeal.
