Cops fear red kite poisoning

POLICE suspect a bird of prey found dead had been poisoned.
The red kite was discovered near its nest northwest of the village of Braco, near Dunblane, on June 22.
But a postmortem examination and toxicology testing have revealed it had ingested toxic levels of rodenticide, and the banned poisonous insecticide aldicarb.
