Chainsaw attack accused 'wanted media attention'

A MAN accused of attempting to kill four police officers waved a chainsaw at them and shouted, “I want the media here,” a court has heard.

Liridon Kastrati, 32, is alleged to have stolen a black Volkswagen in Paisley in May last year before colliding with a police car.

Kastrati is then said to have pulled a chainsaw out of a bag and run at officers.
