Car travel is up despite cut pledge

CAMPAIGNERS have slammed statistics showing a rise in car travel despite a climate target of slashing traffic by 20 per cent by 2030.
The latest Transport Scotland data revealed car travel has now returned to 99 per cent of pre-pandemic levels while bus journeys are seven per cent down and rail travel is 1
