Best's lucky No7 for sale after he smuggled it out of Madrid in 1968
A MANCHESTER United superfan is selling a rare George Best shirt he gave her after smuggling it out of the dressing room.
The late winger had to hide the red No7 jersey in a wet towel after wearing it during United’s European Cup semifinal victory at Real Madrid in 1968.
The Northern Ireland legend had to make sure the club's frugal kitman didn't see him give the top away outside the team's hotel.
